DISPLAY YOUR WORK IN An aRT IN AUTISM SHOWCASE

SNW - Autism Appreciation Art Showcase will take place on March 28th, 2020 to showcase the talents and abilities of artists living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and initiate a conversation about the unique power of art in the autism community. Sponsored by Lorna Rene LLC, La Max Marketing, Shared Touch, the Children's Hospital of Colorado, and The University of Colorado School of Medicine,  the exhibition will be paired with art time for attendees and a panel discussion with special guests.

HOW TO SUBMIT ARTWORK

We need your artwork to make this project a success! If you are an artist living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or know an artist living with ASD who would like to participate in this event,  fill out this form. The deadline for submission forms will be March 17, and final decisions will be made by March 22.

​ABOUT THE LORNA RENE SPECIAL NEEDS WORKSHOPS
The Special Needs group is one of extraordinary bravery and compassion. Typically there are 4 major groups of individuals with special needs:
​
  • Physical – muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, chronic asthma, epilepsy, etc.
  • Developmental – down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, processing disorders
  • Behavioral/Emotional – ADD, bi-polar, oppositional defiance disorder, etc.
  • Sensory Impaired – Blind, visually impaired, deaf, limited hearing

Each month, Lorna René LLC will conduct a workshop and a quarterly panel discussion to accentuate the needs of each group of individuals. Ideally, we want to spread awareness for community resources, appreciate professionals in these industries, learn from each other, and show our love for everyone apart of these groups.
